Summer 2008 - Exploring Preaching in the Emergent Church As the emergent church seeks to connect with our changing culture, their approach and style of communication is adjusting and being re-evaluated. We want to look at the positive insights they have found in communicating to our postmodern world, as well as the potential dangers of these changes. What are the implications for our preaching in light of our changing culture? Jimmy Long, author of "Emerging Hope," will join us for a discussion on preaching in the emergent church. |
