The Preachers' College is a basic training seminar for preachers which covers the fundamentals of sermon development and delivery. It is geared toward those who have had little or no formal training.  This college will be led by Drs. Scott Gibson & Jeffrey Arthurs.

Who Should Attend
The conference will teach the basics of sermon preparation and delivery. If you preach somewhat regularly and think you might benefit from knowing well the fundamentals of preaching, this conference may be for you. We want to equip men and women who are serving as pastors and lay preachers with the ability to preach biblical, clear, relevant, and effective sermons.

Understand what Expository preaching is and is not

Use support material to help accomplish your goals
Fellowship with others who are serving in ministry
Participate in "mini-sermon workshops" to sharpen your homiletics
Take a break from the hectic world of ministry!

Dates
July 7th-9th (The first session begins at 1pm on Wednesday and the last session ends at noon on Friday.)

Cost
Early Bird Rate- $195 (After May 15th, 2010, the rate is $225)
Cost includes all sessions, meals, snacks, and a packet of books and preaching resources.

Location
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA.

Meals
Wednesday dinner and Thursday breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the registration.

Housing
Limited housing is available on the Gordon-Conwell campus. Single rooms with A/C are available. Priority will be given to early registrants. Contact Housing at housing@gcts.edu or 978.646.4063.

Transportation
All participants are expected to provide their own transportation. Gordon-Conwell is located thirty miles from Boston's Logan airport and sixty miles from the Manchester, NH airport. The train station closest to the seminary is approximately one and a half miles.
