Haddon W. Robinson Professor of Preaching and Director of the Center for Preaching Scott has served as a pastor and has taught preaching at Gordon-Conwell
for more than a decade. He is the founder of The Center for Preaching and The Evangelical
Homiletics Society. He has written
Should We Preach Someone Else's Sermon? and Preaching for Special Services, as well as editing Preaching the Old Testament, The Big Idea
of Biblical Preaching, and Preaching to a Shifting Culture. Through
conferences and consultation, he is actively involved in training pastors to preach.
JEFFREY D. ARTHURS, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Preaching and Communication and Dean of the Chapel
Jeff Arthurs has a wide range of ministry and communication
experience as teacher, pastor, missionary, actor, director, radio announcer and consultant.
He has taught communications and homiletics for more than a decade. In addition,
he also carries on an active ministry of pulpit supply, conference speaking, and
writing. He has written Preaching with Variety. His passion is preaching and teaching others to preach.
